Healthier Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 2 chicken breasts shredded
  • 14 oz low sodium white beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup water
  • tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup Frank's hot sauce
  • ½ cup green onion chopped and divided
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded and divided
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook chicken. Shred and set aside.
  • Meanwhile add beans, water, and garlic powder to a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, bean paste, greek yogurt, hot sauce, ¼ cup green onion, ¼ cup cheddar cheese, and ¼ blue cheese crumbles. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with remaining green onions. Serve with a mixture of freshly cut vegetables or blue corn tortilla chips for dipping.
