Elote Chex Mix
An easy recipe for making homemade Elote Chex Mix, using Everything but the Elote Seasoning from Trader Joe's. This Chex Mix is a great party appetizer that your guests will like elote!

Dry Ingredients 2 cups Corn Chex cereal 2 cups Rice Chex cereal 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal 1½ cups Cheez-its 1½ cups pretzel sticks 1 7oz bag bagel chips 1 9oz container Cajun corn sticks 1 9 oz container corn nuts 8 oz cashews Seasoning Mix 1 stick unsalted butter 3 tbsp Trader Joe's Elote seasoning 1 tbsp Franks Red hot 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce ¼ tsp cayenne pepper ¼ tsp garlic powder
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix together all the dry cereal, cheez-its, pretzels, bagel chips, cajun sticks, corn nuts, and cashews.
Melt butter and then add Elote seasoning, hot sauce, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until combined.
Slowly pour seasoning mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
Spread mixture on an oven safe metal baking sheet (you may need two). Bake for approx 1.5hrs, removing to stir every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle more Elote seasoning on top to add a dusting to the Chex Mix. Let cool completely before serving or storing.
