I work full-time in the corporate world by day, but I live to entertain on the weekends. I especially love a good themed charcuterie board!

I believe food brings people together and creates lasting memories. I love to entertain so a lot of my recipes are geared towards hosting, but I also share recipe ideas for dinner, brunch and everything else in between.

The other half of my page is focused on boards & boxes!! 🧀 While I can’t sell all of the boards I make, I love sharing tips for you to recreate your own at home. My highest priority right now is to get my online order form up and running... it’s coming! It’s hard than you would think! :)

Here’s a brief history on how I started selling boards and boxes...

Like many of you, I got very bored last March when we all had to stay home. I had many friends lose family members, pets, jobs, etc. so I started ding dong ditching them, leaving a cheese box on their front porch in hopes to bring a smile to their face. At the same time, I was quickly flooded with requests and just like that my board & box business was born!!! Almost a year later, here we are!

Dried citrus is perfect as a garnish for cocktails, desserts, charcuterie boards, and even meals. They can be added on top of a glass or tea or used in meat/seafood rubs. If you’re crafty, you could even use them to make your own garland.

This meal is based around my go to chicken recipe that I use for most of my Mexican bowls, tacos, or salads. I can’t believe I haven’t shared with you yet, but it’s all yours now!!

This meal only takes 30 minutes to make and so tasty that you won’t even miss the tortilla or the cheese. It’s enjoyable for dinner and would be perfect for meal prep once we get back to that life...

Let’s talk skinny dipping tips! Get your head out of the gutter, this is a veggie platter so they’re skinny dips! 🙃 I have 4 tips that will help elevate the dips you serve on your boards. Leave a comment below with a dip and I’ll tell you how I would garnish it!

𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝟏: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬!
If you’re trying to make an aesthetically pleasing board, then 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵, serve your dips in the plastic store bought containers.

For starters, we are living in the covid ages... that’s just gross! It’s unclear who/what has touched those containers before it ends up in your fridge at home. I like to utilize every square inch of my boards therefore I don’t want my clean food touching nasty packaging germs.

Secondly, it looks a helluva lot better.

Lastly, it helps eliminates food waste. Only put out what you think you will use... you can always replenish!

𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝟐: 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐝𝐝 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬!
When serving dips on boards, I like to work with odd numbers. Take this pic for example. Last weekend I made a veggie board for my family. I used 3 different dips to give people options so they’re more inclined to eat their veggies!

𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝟑: 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬!
Use different sized/shaped ramekins to add different textures. I used 3 completely different ramekins on this board, but you could use 3 of the same. Keep proportion in mind... you don’t want to take up half of the board with just ramekins.

Place the ramekins on the board first and build around them. Don’t group more than 3 together or it may look cluttered.

𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝟒: 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐩𝐬!
Just like any board, the last step is to garnish, but garnishing doesn’t stop with the board. Elevate the overall appearance of your board by garnishing your dips. I picked one ingredient that is in each of these dips to help garnish and identify the dips...

-Regular hummus garnish with olive oil, dash of paprika, roasted chick peas, and parsley.

-Everything bagel Greek yogurt dip garnished with everything bagel seasoning!

-Spicy feta dip garnished with extra feta cheese!
